6th National Conference Occupational Therapy in Diverse SettingsInfo Location Contact More Info Event Information![]()
DescriptionWe are delighted to be able to deliver the conference remotely again this year. Whilst we know that everyone enjoys meeting face to face, the feedback from last years on-line event was really positive that it made the conference more accessible to people, so we have decided to stay on-line this year. We have another great line up of speakers with time for networking. This year’s topics include roles in: research, domestic abuse, rough sleepers, Weekday Wow, Aspire Creating Communities. We have a keynote from Kirsty Stanley, Director, Occupational Therapist & Writer at Occupation4Life Ltd, talking about her work with long covid and ABLEOTUK, and Steve Ford, Chief Executive, Royal College of Occupational Therapists joining us and will do a Q&A session. We will also be giving an update on the new Social Enterprise network group that is being launched as a result of last year’s conference. At the end of the day there is the opportunity to join us for an additional hour to meet up with this group to look at how this can be developed. Please contact Channine if you would like to submit a poster- these will not need to be presented but will be shared on the Edublog site. http://blogs.brighton.ac.uk/copotds/ We will be using Microsoft Teams as the platform for delivery and will ensure it is an interactive day as we know how hard it is to be on-line all day. We really hope you will still join us and find this a great CPD opportunity. Cost: £20 Closing date: Friday 4th November 2022
