This year we have negotiated to have fixed price for printing for the degree show at £35 per student.
This includes a near 50% discount [based on numbers!] from Exhibit Printing and a £2,500.00 contribution from BIAAS [well done BIAAS!]

The venue is the old Fruit and Veg market at Circus Street. With massive holes in the roof, we have to use a waterproof print media.

Printing:
Process - Ink jet with water resistant solvent ink.
Media – 180 micron polypropylene.
Sizes - The price covers 4sqm of printing.
Options - 4xA1, OR 2x A0, OR 2x 595x1682, OR 1x1190x1682 [to be agreed with your studio tutor]

If you choose to use an alternative printing process or would like to use originals, you have to propose a method for making them moisture resistant.
The fact is that most materials will not survive the 10 days the show is open simply due to condensation over night.
In 2014, ink jet prints from reprographics at Mithras lasted one night and had to be removed!
